Two different barn quilt patterns appear here. One is on the south end of the red barn, and the other is on the south end of a small red shed. A sign nearby gives some history on one of these: the pattern on the barn, "Doves in the Window," was used by Laura Ingalls Wilder for her hope chest.
Your Visit: This is a great place to stop and explore for an hour. There are a number of exhibits here related to the "Little House" series.
