Formerly known as Rest Awhile Park, John W. Schmoker Memorial Park is located at the east edge of Oswego, forming a triangle between 4th Street and Highway 59. The Farmer’s Market is held at this location on each Thursday from 3:00pm to 6:00pm during the growing season. The children's play equipment here is decidedly old school - swings, slides, and a merry-go-round. There is also a pavilion where the adults can rest while the little ones expend some energy.
