The flat-roofed store is of a common ALDI design, with highly placed windows on a couple of sides, but huge plate glass windows behind the packing bench. It is painted in grey, cream and ochre colours; with a large flat metal awning over the entrance and trolley bays. When I was here they had just opened up 3 weeks before a 'Self-checkout' aisle. A staff member thought that the store opened in ~2015.
There is an untimed open car park with most of it under shade-sail structures. There are four disabled car spaces directly at the front of the store - making it easily wheelchair accessible. If you happen to look at the ALDI website for this store, the map shows the store as being in the centre of the shunting yards. [NOT] They sell alcohol here, but I didn't get to see if they have shortened hours on Sundays.
