The house was built in 1904 to utilise every bit of floor space in the area between the Hopakker and the waterway along the Gruttersdijk. Incredibly, it still has a floor space of more than 180 m2 and is thus very pricy for a house in Utrecht, taxated more than 800.000 euros...
