Animal Lifeline is a charity shop located in a black and white building dated 1888 on Church Street in Newcastle-under-Lyme.
Animal Lifeline is voluntary group and a registered charity.
It is a dog rescue and sanctuary that was founded over 44 years ago and is based in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. Its purpose is to save abandoned and unwanted dogs and puppies and find them new homes and loving owners.
The aim of Animal Lifeline is to rescue and re-home dogs of all ages and to care for them until a new home can be found for them. However in some cases a permanent place may be found for them in their sanctuary.
They do not have any dogs put down and there are always at least 100 dogs in their kennels.
Dogs are normally re-homed within North Staffordshire and South Cheshire and home check visits are carried out before this can take place.
Animal Lifeline are self-funding and rely donations, offers of help and volunteers.
Donations
They accept used and new items, especially good quality clothing, shoes, bags, books, CDs and DVDs, toys, gifts, bric-a-brac, jewellery, small furniture ( such as coffee tables), and small electric items (such as radios, and table lamps).
