Newcastle-under-Lyme War Memorial is located in Red Lion Square, a paved area on High Street near to St Giles Church in Newcastle -under-Lyme town centre.

Newcastle-under-Lyme War Memorial was raised in memory of those who lost their lives in the two world wars.

The memorial has a polished red and grey granite octagonal base surmounted by a polished grey granite obelisk with black crosses inlaid on one of the faces.

The dedication inscribed in gold lettering on the grey granite base reads as follows;
