This transformer-station is placed in the district Meterik in Horst an der Maas, a town in the province Limburg. It can be found in the center of the district near to the church. It is different to the common transformer-station type in Germany, which are usually build as small towers. This one is made of bricks, commonly used to houses in this area and it of the height of a one-floor building. This design fits well into the streets. Other than most of the transformer stations known to me, the cables are put in the underground, but it can be identified as a transformer by the sign put to the building.
