The VMR has two main buildings on site here at the Gladstone Marina. there is a rectangular stucco grey-green painted block building with a low-pitched corrugated iron roof next to the Nautical Flagpole and Boat Ramp for the main office and training. Also a 'narrow' but tall grey Colorbond shed that stands two-storeys tall (tho no external evidence of a mezzanine floor) with a tall roller door at the north side. It sits the other side of the Boat Ramp to the HQ building. There was one motor boat docked at a pontoon behind the HQs.
