At the SW corner of the Hazardville Playground, at the base of a large tree, is a Vietnam Memorial to the four men from Enfield who were killed in action in Vietnam.
A granite marker set at ground level and decorated with flags and plants is inscribed:
THE FOLLOWING FOUR ENFIELD MEN ANSWERED
THEIR COUNTRY'S CALL TO DUTY IN VIETNAM AND
MADE THE SUPREME SACRIFICE KILLED IN ACTION
