This memorial cross unveiled in 1922 was erected to commemorate the men of the parish who died in World War I.
It is in the form of a Latin cross on top of an octagonal plinth, two octagonal steps and a base.
In the centre of the cross head is a carving of a dove in the middle of a wreath and the upper part of the octagonal base is decorated with carved shields containing imagery representing the services.
The memorial was amended on 28th March 1954 to also cover the men who died in World War II. This amendment is in the form of a large open stone book at the base of the memorial with the names of the dead carved on the pages.
There is an original inscription on the octagonal plinth.
