Oakhill Cemetery, founded in 1859, is one of the oldest cemeteries in Grand Rapids. The cemetery is divided into north and south sections by Hall Street. There are many large, ornate, mausoleums, monuments, and grave markers in the cemetery. Many of the mausoleums feature Greek or Egyptian architectural details.
