[ES] Tras la II Guerra Mundial Berlín quedó dividido en dos. El Muro "cayó" en la noche del jueves 9 de noviembre de 1989 y sirvió para reunificar Alemania.
Según los datos del Ministerio de Seguridad Nacional, la extensión del Muro era de 155 kilómetros de longitud aproximadamente, tenía una altura media de hasta 3,6 metros y estaba formado por 45.000 secciones independientes de 1,5 m de longitud. Una de ellas es la que el Ayuntamiento de Berlín ha cedido a la ciudad de Torrejón de Ardoz.

[EN] After World War II, Berlin was divided in two sides. The Wall "fell" on the night of Thursday, November 9, 1989 paving the way for German reunification. .
According to data by the Ministry of State Security, the Wall was approximately 155 kilometers long, reaching heights of up to 3.6 meters and was made up of 45,000 independent blocks, each of then of 1.5 meters long. One of these blocks has been given to the town of Torrejón de Ardoz by the Berlin City Council.
