Michael Hileman's grave marker is a modern engraved granite upright headstone. According to Find-A-Grave the dates on this stone are wrong.

"Son of Johannes and Anna Maria Hileman of Cordorus Twp., York Co. He is listed on the 1781 and 1783 tax lists for Cordorus Twp. as Johan Michael Heilman, single freeman, along with his father Johannes and brother Johan Philip. He is named as the younger son in his father's will, which was written 27 Nov. 1778 and proved 3 Jan. 1787. His siblings were Katharina m. to Peter Kuntz (decd. in 1786), Philip, Rosina, w/ Godfrey Kleindienst, Margaret, w/o Henry Gladfelter and Elizabeth, w/o Christian Hasler.

He was married first to Anna Maria Young and secondly to Margaret Koofer. He was the father of John, Frederick, Henry, Michael, Daniel, Philip, David Young and Joseph Hileman, Glory Bouslough, Mary Bridenbaugh, Elizabeth Leamer and Rebecca Good, all by his first wife.

Private, Capt. Sam Rodger's Co. 1st Batt. Cumberland Co. Militia, Aug. 1780, Revolutionary War.

Cause of death: dysentery.

Note: Brand new marker has been placed with the dates of birth and death totally erroneous. Obviously those who placed the new marker were unable to properly read the old one. It is easy to see how "1849" could have been misread as 1819. BCGS listing for the cemetery confirmed what was on the original marker, as well as the new marker having the incorrect dates." Source
