Dhaliwal Sunview Market is a family-owned and operated fresh produce business started in 1990 by Gary and Parmjeet Dhaliwal. The Dhaliwals immigrated to British Columbia from the state of Punjab, India over thirty years ago.
When Gary and Parmjeet arrived in Canada, they turned to farming and put down Canadian roots in the South Okanagan where the land was a lush green, covered with green vegetation and the weather was beautiful.

I was there early in the morning and the fruit stand was not yet open. About the time I was preparing to leave, the owner arrived. We had a pleasant conversation about the farm and about their U-Pick, mentioning the sign said strawberries. She mentioned that customers can enter the gardens and harvest what they may find. In addition to strawberries, they have squash, gourds, and peppers.
The Okanagan Valley is well known for the abundance of fresh locally grown fruit and vegetables. As you travel Hwy. 97 from Osoyoos to West Kelowna the landscape is highlighted with apple, pear, peach and cherry orchards. In the last decade, vineyards for local wineries are replacing a lot of the orchards.
