It is a hermitage with a rectangular floor plan and a smaller unit attached to its left side. Both are covered with gabled roofs and the main body shows a small central projection on its façade. It has two wooden doors framed by semicircular openings. Another tiny opening in the cloth of the main façade houses a small bell. It is whitewashed in its entirety, except in its lower part where the contrast of a plinth painted in brown appears. Inside there are some benches and the flat front end houses a small altarpiece and the High Altar on which the carved figure of San Sebastián is arranged.

There is certain news of both the hermitage and the brotherhood of San Sebastián around 1669. Therefore, it would be possible to date the original one at the end of the 16th or beginning of the 17th century. Under the invocation of San Sebastián, patron saint of the town, as well as many other neighboring municipalities freed by the intervention of the Catholic Monarchs, who felt great devotion to the warrior saint. However, in this case his patronage was not recognized until 1804 from the Holy See, a moment that was used to build the current hermitage, larger than the original one. Its cover was also restored from this back in the 80s.

Related to the traditional devotion to the patron saint since the reconquest. It shelters the image of San Sebastián whose once numerous Brotherhood takes him out in procession on January 20.

San Sebastián never reneged on his faith in God, so they ordered him riddled with arrows in non-vital areas so that he would die slowly. The carving located in the chapel of the hermitage of San Sebastián shows his martyrdom.
It is next to the Lanjarón gas station, on the outskirts of town.
