Within the Amerena swimsport complex, there are several swimming pools and also a diving pool/area. From outside and inside you can see the diving tower.

About the Amerena sport complex:
"A 50-meter pool with ten lanes, a pool for recreational swimming, two jumping towers, a sports hall, a specialized physio practice, two meeting rooms and a restaurant. Amerena is the place for recreational athletes and top athletes.
The name Amerena is a combination of Amersfoort and arena. The link to Amersfoort is clear. And an arena is a place where sports are fought, where people meet.
The municipality of Amersfoort called on everyone to come up with a name for the sports complex. From all entries, a jury chose three names to vote on. The public could choose from the names De Ambitie, De Hoogte and Amerena. With more than half of the votes, Amerena was the convincing winner.
The wish for such a sports complex had been alive in Amersfoort for a long time. The design for the sports complex was completed in 2014. Amerena has been open since April 2018."

About the diving club (XDiving) at Amerena:
"Diving/XDiving is a water sport in which you have to jump into the water as beautifully as possible from a board or platform. You can do (combinations of) somersaults and twists. A jury with five or seven members gives marks. They increase by ½ point from 0 (totally failed) to 10 (very good).
Diving/XDiving involves jumping from 1- and 3-meter boards and from the 5-, 7½- and 10-meter towers. During the jump, the jury looks at technique, elegance, suppleness, height, distance and neatness. You can also synchronized jump. Two jumpers simultaneously jump from a plank or platform and then make the same jump synchronously.:
