The elevated store has a low-angled gabled corrugated iron roof, mostly covered on the northern side with solar panels. It sits on reinforced concrete pylons over a fair portion of the untimed car park - there is more parking on the northern side, in the open air. The car park under the store is best accessed from Baldwin Street; while the northern car park is accessed from Caloundra Road (aka Bowman Road) when heading west - as the main road is divided. There is a lift, a covered, long switch-back ramp, or two flights of stairs as options for gaining entry - so that the store is wheelchair accessible.

There was plenty of token-release trolleys here and plastic shopping baskets. There was a 'Battery Return Facility' for your dud domestic batteries.
