The coat of arms of Bishop Lawrence E. Brandt is on a stained glass window at Blessed Sacrament Cathedral on North Main Street in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. The window is directly above the main door to the Cathedral and was installed in 2011, the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Diocese of Greensburg, when restoration work was done on the Cathedral.

Bishop Brandt was bishop of the Diocese of Greensburg from 2004 to 2015. Born in 1939, he was ordained a priest in 1969 at Saint Peter Basilica at Vatican City. He was given the title Monsignor by Pope Paul VI in 1974 and served as the chancellor of the Diocese of Erie prior to being named bishop of Greensburg.

The Heraldry of the World website describes the coat of arms thus:
"As common in US episcopal heraldry, the arms show the arms of the diocese paled with the personal arms of the bishop. The lion is symbol of courage and strength. Bishop Brandt as a bishop is committed to protect with courage and strength the flock committed to his care. The black grid iron recalls the martyrdom of Saint-Lawrence (d.258), the bishops [sic] baptismal name. The gold and red fields recall the fire with which Saint-Lawrence [w]as martyred and is also an allusion to the name 'Brandt' from the German name 'Brand' = fire. The motto IGNIS CARITATIS is translated with 'With the fire of Love'. The achievement is completed with the heraldic insignia of a prelate of the rank of bishop by instruction of the Holy See, of March 1969, confirmed in March 2001."
