Brick Tunnel - Jackson, MI - Artistically Decorated Utility Boxes on Waymarking.com

As part of the Jackson, Michigan Bright Walls project, artists have been decorating utility boxes and walls throughout the downtown area for the past four years.

This utility box is located a few steps into the alley on the west wall of 143 E Michigan Ave, Jackson, MI 49201. It is set against a brick wall and artist John Pugh from Ashland Oregon has decorated the box to look like the wall has broken down and created a tunnel to some other side. With the location of the box there is no art work on the rear nor the top of the box. It is a light lime green background with reddish/rush bricks.
