The mark is about 2.75 miles east of the town of Centennial, to the north of State Highway 130. It is set in a round concrete monument that projects about 6 inches above the ground. It is between two parallel fence lines that define the historic railway property. One does not have to cross any fences from the highway to view the mark; it stands out amongst the relatively short grasses surrounding it and is easily seen from near the road.
