A sign warning approaching traffic states "Wood Bridge - 8 Tons." A lot of farm equipment weighs more than that! I wonder how often someone gambles... The bridge, which spans a small creek, is only twelve feet long, and is constructed entirely of wood. The surface is composed of stout wood 20' planks.
