DE: In den 1960er Jahren begann der Axel Ketterer mit seiner Sammelleidenschaft rund um die Beatles. Über die Jahre kamen so über 10.000 sehr unterschiedliche Stücke wie CD's Schallplatten und Plattencover, Sammelbildchen, Starschnitte, Autogramme, Fotos, Original-Instrumente und weiteren Sachen zusammen. Im Jahr 2009 wurde das Café "Yellow Submarine" an der Römerstraße 19 mit einer Ausstellung der schönsten und dem Eigentümer wichtigsten Exponate auf einer Fläche von 120qm eingerichtet.
Die Besucher des Cafés dürfen sich während der Öffnungszeiten (Montags bis Freitags ab 15 Uhr, Samstags ab 19 Uhr und Sonntags zwischen 14 Uhr und 18 Uhr) die Sammlung kostenfrei anschauen. Kostenfreie Führungen finden zudem Montags bis Freitags um 20 Uhr, 20:30 Uhr und 21 Uhr sowie Sonntags um 14 Uhr und 17 Uhr sowie nach vorheriger Vereinbarung statt.

EN: In the 1960s, Axel Ketterer began his passion for collecting everything to do with the Beatles. Over the years, more than 10,000 very different pieces such as CDs, records and record covers, collector's cards, star cuts, autographs, photos, original instruments and more came together. In 2009, the "Yellow Submarine" café at Römerstraße 19 was set up with an exhibition of the most beautiful and owner-important exhibits on an area of 120 square meters.
Visitors to the café can view the collection free of charge during opening hours (Monday to Friday from 3 p.m., Saturday from 7 p.m. and Sunday between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.). Free guided tours also take place Monday to Friday at 8 p.m., 8:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. and by prior arrangement.
