[FR] La Société des Courses de Châteauroux, créé en 1883, est l’une des plus anciennes associations castelroussines. Situé dans un cadre verdoyant en bordure de l’Indre, cet hippodrome très accueillant se prête idéalement à une sortie en famille.
Sa piste en herbe de 1750m, avec les virages surélevés, en fait sa particularité et son charme. Les départs donnés dorénavant juste avant la tribune permettent aux spectateurs de profiter au maximum du spectacle.
Chaque année les bénévoles et les services municipaux s’affairent pour améliorer et embellir l’hippodrome.
De nombreuses animations sont proposées entre chaque course.
[EN] The Société des Courses de Châteauroux, created in 1883, is one of the oldest associations in Châteauroux. Located in a green setting on the banks of the Indre river, this very welcoming racecourse is ideal for a family outing.
Its grass track of 1750m, with raised turns, makes its particularity and its charm. The departures given from now on just before the grandstand allow the spectators to enjoy the show to the maximum.
Every year, the volunteers and the municipal services work hard to improve and embellish the racecourse.
Many animations are proposed between each race.
