The Katy Trail in Oklahoma City spans 6.3 miles across the old MKT rail line. The trail crosses one fine railroad bridge, across NE 10th Street. This waymark is set at the northern endpoint but you can visit the trail at any point. The trail is paved along its entire length.
The Missouri-Kansas-Texas railroad, the MKT, was called the "Katy" when it was the first railroad into Dallas. The old MKT rail beds have been repurposed into the "Katy Trail" in all three of these states.
