This small temple is located on the road that leads to the Nacla. Currently, an urbanization has been built and it has been located in the lower part of it. It has been recently rehabilitated. It was dedicated to the avocation of San Nicolás de Bari, a cult whose origin in Motril we do not know. Built at the end of the 18th century. It is a simple construction, of brick and masonry of reduced dimensions, it has a belfry with a niche.

Originally it was a much simpler building than what can be seen today, since with the passing of the decades the small belfry and cresting that it looks like today were added, although the pristine masonry became plastered over the years; being a hermitage that, architecturally, is very reminiscent of other homonymous scattered throughout the municipality of Motril.
