Radaren ved Juvre er en ud af fem DMI radarer. De fem radarer er fordelt så de dækker hele Danmark. Ud over denne på Rømø er der der radarer på Stevns, i Sindal i Vendsyssel, én i Almindingen på Bornholm og én i Virring i Østjylland.
Alle fem radarer er "dual-pol C-band" med dopplereffekt hvilket giver en større præcision i identifikationen af nedbørstyper.
The radar at Juvre is one of five DMI radars. (DMI is an abbreviation of the Danish Meteorological Institute.) The five radars are distributed so that they cover the whole of Denmark. In addition to this one on Rømø, there are radars on Stevns, in Sindal in Vendsyssel, one in Almindingen on Bornholm and one in Virring in East Jutland.
All five radars are "dual-pole C-band" with doppler effect, which gives greater precision in the identification of precipitation types
