This waymark is a General electric 44 Tonner. a 4 axle diesel-electric locomotive. Built for industrial and light switching duties. Output power is 360 - 400 horsepower. Built between 1940-1956.
This particular GE 44 Tonner has Utah Central Railway on its cab but really faded. There is the number 44 on the cab and something else that was painted over that I was unable to make out. Not sure when the last time this was in operation. This locomotive looks to be in rough shape.
