[FIN] Laitilan Keskuskadun päässä on Fordson niminen navetta. Tämä navetta kuuluu Pilppulan tilaan. Tila on toiminut 1600-luvulta asti. Navetta on rakennettu 1900-luvulla ja noin vuonna 2000 sen käyttö karjan pitoon loppui. Paikka oli pitkään autiona. Siinä on nykyään restauroituna kokoustiloja joita esimerkiksi Laitilan kaupunki käyttää. Nykyisessä kunnossa navetta on ollut vuodesta 2022 asti. Navetan tiiliseinissä on erikoisia koristekuvioita ja rakennus on kaksiosainen.
Navetan nimi Fordson tulee traktorimerkistä. Navetan sisältä löytyykin Fordson traktori. Tämä traktori on nostettu ylös parvelle. Sillä ei siis pääse ajelemaan!
Navetta on hyvin tärkeällä paikalla. Tilan alueella on tehty hyvin vanhojen hautojen arkeologisia kaivauksia ja epäillään että tilan kohdalla on ollut asutusta jo tuhat vuotta sitten.
[EN] At the end of Laitila's Keskuskatu street, there is a barn called Fordson. This barn belongs to Pilppula's farm. The farm has been operating since the 17th century. The barn was built in the 20th century and around the year 2000 its use for keeping cattle ended. The place was deserted for a long time. Today, it has restored meeting rooms that are used, for example, by the city of Laitila. The barn has been in its current condition since 2022. The brick walls of the barn have special decorative patterns and the building is two-part.
The barn's name Fordson comes from the tractor brand. There is a Fordson tractor inside the barn. This tractor has been lifted up into the loft. So you can't ride it!
The barn is in a very important location. Archeological excavations of very old graves have been carried out in the area of ??the farm, and it is suspected that the farm was inhabited already a thousand years ago.
