This Pennsylvania Coordinate System Triangulation Station benchmark disk is located on a small concrete slab in the middle of a field at Buhl Park near Hermitage, Pennsylvania. The disk is stamped "BUHL FARM" with the date 1937. It also says "Mercer County" in the keystone shape in the middle of the disk.
The description from the datasheet says, "STATION IS LOCATED IN BUHL PARK, JUST NORTH OF THE NORTHEAST CITY BOUNDARY OF THE CITY OF SHARON. IT IS ON THE BROW OF A KNOLL OVERLOOKING THE LARGE LAWN AND SHARON COUNTRY CLUB TO THE WEST. IT IS ABOUT 400 FEET WEST OF BUHL FARM DRIVE AND THE EAST ENTRANCE TO THE PARK, 140 FEET SOUTH OF THE NORTH DRIVE, 92 FEET SOUTHEAST OF A CONCRETE STREET LIGHT POLE, AND IN A CLEARING ABOUT MIDWAY BETWEEN TWO CLUMPS OF PINE TREES. THE MARK IS A PENNA. COORDINATE SYSTEM DISK SET IN THE TOP OF A SQUARE BLOCK OF CONCRETE FLUSH WITH THE GROUND, STAMPED BUHL FARM 1937. TO REACH FROM THE SHENANGO RIVER BRIDGE ON STATE STREET IN SHARON, GO EAST ON STATE STREET (U.S. HIGHWAY 62) FOR 1.9 MILES, TURN LEFT ON BUHL FARM DRIVE AND GO NORTH FOR 1.1 MILES TO THE ENTRANCE TO BUHL PARK, AND STATION ABOUT 400 FEET TO THE WEST AS DESCRIBED."
