[EN] The church of Notre-Dame was built at the beginning of the 16th century on the orders of Cardinal Amanieu d'Albret, abbot of the abbey of Saint-Pierre de Brantôme, so that the people of Brantôme could have a parish church in the town. The unique nave is covered with vaults on ribbed crossings. A bell tower in the form of a watchtower rises at the corner facing the bridge. The church was desecrated in the 19th century to be transformed into a market hall, then into a village hall. Today it houses the reception office of the PÉRIGORD Dronne Belle Tourist Office in Brantôme.
