"Ceremonies in het Weerderhuys
Van 1890 tot 1969 was het huidige Weerderhuys in gebruik als kerk voor de protestantse gemeenschap. Deze kerk werd in 1969 aangekocht door het gemeentebestuur en doet sinds 1973 dienst als trouwzaal onder de naam 'het Weerderhuys'. In 2008 onderging het Weerderhuys een grote renovatie. Het is een sfeervolle locatie en biedt ruimte voor maximaal 75 personen, waarvan 35 zitplaatsen. Er is een eigen oprijlaan voor 4 à 5 auto's voor het bruidspaar en directe gasten van het bruidspaar. Behalve bloemblaadjes mag er niet gestrooid worden."

From 1890 to 1969, the current Wederhuys was used as a church for the Protestant community. This church was purchased by the city council in 1969 and has been serving as a wedding hall since 1973 under the name 'het Weelderhuys'. In 2008, the Weelderhuys underwent a major renovation. It is an attractive location and offers space for up to 75 people, of which 35 seats. There is a private driveway for 4 to 5 cars for the bridal couple and direct guests of the bridal couple. Except for petals, there is no scattering."
