The 17th-century Italian tiered fountain with 21 spigots was donated by John Callendar Livingston in 1909. It was restored in 1992 by sculptor Clark Fitz-Gerald after being inactive for thirty years.

The fountain is surmounted by the life-size bronze figure of a naked young man holding a fishing spear with his left hand and a fish with the right above his head as a trophy.
