The Treehouse was built by Mary Pigott for her grandkids who enjoyed many hours in the scenic perch above the meadow.
The Treehouse was constructed around 4 existing landmark western red cedars in two phases. The first phase, in 2013, included the larger meeting room and tapered stair entrance. The second phase added the additional elevated connected structures - a rigid bridge, the suspension bridge and the lookout - in 2014. The Treehouse has unique features such as the handrails, repurposed ski rails from Montana, windows in meeting room, except for one, from Mary’s old barn and other features created with reclaimed wood from Jake Jacob’s mill.
