NL Op onze vakantie op de Veluwe hebben we op een regenachtige dag een bezoek gebracht aan pluktuin het Platteland te Putten. Het was geweldig om zelf wat groentes te oogsten en mijn vrouw vond het heel leuk om zelf een boeket bloemen samen te stellen. Er zijn ook veel bessen, onder andere frambozen, bosbessen. We gingen weg met een mand vol groentes, een bosje bloemen voor op de campng en een leuke ervaring.

Sinds 2000 is de Pluktuin Het Platteland te vinden aan de Engersteeg 14 te Putten. Omgeven door windsingels en weilanden is het een ontspannen vertoeven in de Pluktuin. Even genieten van de rust, het eenvoudige, een kopje koffie of thee en dan ….. oogsten! U mag zelf oogsten, wij helpen u graag op weg. Daarom staan er een mand, schaar/mesje voor u klaar. Wilt u zelf uw zelfverpakkingsmateriaal meenemen?

Bij het verkooppunt staan krijtborden waarop de groente en fruit vermeld staan, die op het bezoekmoment te oogsten zijn en daar staan tevens de verkoopprijzen bij. In de groentetuin markeren wij het veldje, dat geoogst mag worden, met een rode boerenzakdoek. De fruitbomen, die geplukt mogen worden, voorzien wij eveneens van een rode boerenzakdoek. Bloemen plukken: u plukt de bloemen, die u mooi vindt met een schaar. Kleinfruit: eerst één proeven. Lekker? Dan graag met twee handen plukken en het fruit in de daarvoor bestemde bakjes doen. U mag het kleinfruit mixen.

In de Pluktuin treft u op diverse plaatsen brocante en leuke spulletjes aan. De sfeer is dan ook nostalgisch te noemen. Kinderen zijn hartelijk welkom! Zij plukken wel onder uw toezicht. Voor de kleintjes is er een zandbak met veel speelgoed, maar ook zij mogen plukken.
ENG On our holiday in the Veluwe, we visited the Platteland picking garden in Putten on a rainy day. It was great to harvest some vegetables myself and my wife really enjoyed putting together a bouquet of flowers herself. There are also many berries, among others raspberries, blueberries. We left with a basket full of vegetables, a bunch of flowers for the campng and a nice experience.

Since 2000, the pick-your-own-farm Het Platteland can be found at 14 Engersteeg in Putten. Surrounded by windbreaks and meadows, you can relax in the Pluktuin. Just enjoy the peace, the simple, a cup of coffee or tea and then ….. harvest! You can harvest yourself, we are happy to help you on your way. That's why a basket, scissors/knife are ready for you. Would you like to bring your own self-packaging material?

At the point of sale, there are blackboards on which the fruit and vegetables are listed, which can be harvested at the time of the visit, and the sales prices are also listed. In the vegetable garden we mark the field that may be harvested with a red farmer's handkerchief. We also provide the fruit trees that can be picked with a red farmer's handkerchief. Picking flowers: you pick the flowers you like with a pair of scissors. Soft fruit: taste one first. Yummy? Then please pick with both hands and put the fruit in the appropriate containers. You may mix the small fruit.

In the garden you will find brocante and fun items in various places. The atmosphere is therefore nostalgic. Children are very welcome! They will pick under your supervision. For the little ones there is a sandbox with lots of toys, but they can also pick.
