This stone memorial cross is at the back of a small memorial garden on Selby Road,

It has a two-stepped base surmounted by square plinth and plain wheel Cross. On the front of the base is the following inscription in large letters.

Behind the cross is a stone wall with a bronze dedication plaque from the date of erection in July 1920 and a much smaller white stone plaque above it added after the end of WWII.
