Die Rheinische Apfelroute ist ein 124 Kilometer langer Themenradweg durch den Rhein-Sieg-Kreis. Er führt an vielen Obstplantagen vorbei durch das Rheinland und die Voreifel. An 12 sogenannten Erlebnisstationen werden die Radfahrer nicht nur zu einer Pause eingeladen, sondern können auch aktiv werden.

Die Erlebnisstation Swisttal liegt am historischen Swistbach-Übergang bei Lützermiel. Hier kann man mithilfe einer bemalten Glasscheibe eine längst zerstörte Römerbrücke wieder zum Leben erwecken. Außerdem können Besucher an einer Fotowand zur Apfelkönigin werden.
The Rheinische Apfelroute (i.e. Rhenish Apple Route) is a 124-kilometer themed cycle path through the Rhein-Sieg district. It leads past many orchards through the Rhineland and the Voreifel. At 12 so-called experience stations, cyclists are not only invited to take a break, but can also become active.

The Swisttal experience station is located at the historic Swistbach crossing near Lützermiel. Here you can bring a long-destroyed Roman bridge back to life with the help of a painted pane of glass. In addition, visitors can become the Apple Queen on a photo cutout.
