Le parc Loiselle est la plus grande espace verte de la ville, formé par le quadrilatère des rues Loiselle, des Écureilles et du Parc.

Seul ou en famille, on peut pratiquer plusieurs activités dans ce parc.

Le nom de ce parc provient de la famille Loiselle, une des familles qui détenait des terres dans la ville.

Mercier, anciennement Sainte-Philomène, est une ville dans la municipalité régionale de comté de Roussillon au Québec (Canada), située dans la région administrative de la Montérégie, qui se trouve au bord du lac Saint-Louis.

La ville a une superficie d'environ 45,95 km2 et une population de 14 626 habitants (2021).

Cette localité changea son nom en 1968 dans le but de rendre hommage à l'ancien premier ministre du Québec, Honoré Mercier, qui servit de 1887 à 1891.
