EN: This herb garden is located on a hiking trail a few hundred meters east of Ausserberg. The fenced area covers about 100 square meters; next to a few small trees it is planted with dozens of medicinal herbs, all of which are labeled with small plaques where their effects are also mentioned.

The garden originally started as a hobby of the last station manager of the local railroad station and was planted in the early 1990s. Who undertakes the maintenance of the garden since his retirement and the automation of the station in 1999, I have not found mentioned anywhere, but in a nearby organic farm the finished products can be purchased.


DE: Dieser Kräutergarten befindet sich an einem Wanderweg ein paar hundert Meter östlich von Ausserberg. Das eingezäunte Gelände umfasst ungefähr 100 Quadratmeter; neben ein paar kleinen Bäumen ist es mit Dutzenden von Heilkräutern bepflanzt, die alle mit kleinen Tafeln beschildert sind, wo auch ihre Wirkung erwähnt wird.

Der Garten begann ursprünglich als Hobby des letzten Vorstands des örtlichen Bahnhofs und wurde in den frühen 1990ern angelegt. Wer seit seiner Pensionierung und der Automatisierung des Bahnhofs 1999 die Pflege des Gartens unternimmt, habe ich nirgends erwähnt gefunden, aber in einem nahegelegenen Bio-Bauernhof können die fertigen Produkte gekauft werden.
