This memorial is located in Antelope Park at 23rd and "N" Streets to 33rd & Sheridan Boulevard in Lincoln, Nebraska. It has an assortment of attractions including the Sunken Gardens, Veterans Memorial Garden, Hamann Rose Garden and Strolling Garden, Ager Golf Course, Elks baseball field, facility rentals, and the largest playground area in the city. Running along the Antelope Creek, the Billy Wolff Trail and Rock Island Trail run through the park.
This American Revolution Memorial is not located in the main Veterans Memorial Garden since it was dedicated dozens of years prior. It sits next to the large War Memorial monument that was WPA built in 1936.
On a rock on the path to the War Memorial on the right side is a placard with this inscription:
St. Leger Cowley Chapter
Daughters of the American Revolution
has placed this tablet
and
dedicated this memorial
in honor of and in reverence to
the ancestors of its members
who rendered service in
The Revolutionary War.
November 7, 1937
