The Tropic of Capricorn, S 23 26.250, marks the southernmost point where the Sun can be seen directly overhead. Signs on both sides of SP-127 mark this latitude. The text on the signs translate into English as "Here passes the Tropic of Capricorn" and gives 23 26' 15" S as the latitude. There is no pull out but there is room on the shoulder to pull over.
