This somewhat battered Direction and Distance Arrow sign is on the west side of the Mirante de Anta (Tapir Viewpoint) lookout tower. The jungle has not been kind here but many of the signs are legible. Spoiler alert - the geocache here is hidden at the sign, see the photos for a clue.
Historic significance:
This sign was set for the amusement of hikers coming up to the viewpoint, and has no historical significance at all.

Hard to tell, none are in the USA. I will go with Lisbon, Spain which is still an ocean away from my home.
