R. Lee Fish is laid to rest at the far southeast corner of Sunnylane Cemetery, in section 18. His large vertical marker has a protruding vertical center with a cross, and the following inscription:

R. Lee Fish, 103, of Oklahoma City, OK, went to be with our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus, Sunday, October 28, 2007. He was born February 11, 1904 in a sod house in Kingfisher, OK to Hesper and Julia Fish. Flying with Wiley Post, Lee was a pioneer aviator and early radio man. Before retiring, he loved his career of teaching Electronics. He and his precious bride of 72 years, Marvel (Johnson) Fish, loved the adventures of world travel. Lee was a loving husband, father, grandfather, teacher and friend who will be greatly missed and always loved. He is survived by his wife, Marvel Fish of OKC; one daughter, Sylvia Bayless of Midwest City; two sons, David Fish and wife Hoang of OKC, Ronald Fish and wife Nga of OKC; one niece, Marlene Fletcher of Choctaw; and many grandchildren and great- grandchildren who loved him dearly. Services to be held on Thursday, November 1, 2007 at 10:00am at Draper Park Christian Church, 8500 S. Walker, OKC.
