This dedicated tree is located on the east side of the British Columbia Parliament grounds in Victoria, BC, not far off of Government Street. The tree is a Chinese Empress Tree planted in honour of former BC Lieutenant Governor David See-Chai Lam, who served from 1988 to 1995. The tree itself was planted in 1995.
