Located in the Pago de Los Cercados Altos de Fataga, it is one of the best examples of a water mill in Gran Canaria , an installation that dates back to the 19th century, although it underwent a modification at the beginning of the 20th century that gave it its current appearance.

A remodeling that was quite an event in the area since the owners, in order to provide more power to the mechanism, built a bucket of water that was more than double the original. And those who attended its start-up should not have been disappointed by the experience since the pressure of the water ended up bursting the bucket and taking away the mechanism of the original mill .

The owners of this millstone, located next to one of the most beautiful palm groves in the Fataga ravine, took good account of the error and reinforced the structure of the hub by means of a stepped tower that, until today, has resisted the action of water and time.

A spectacular aqueduct, made with beams of firewood and stone, led the water to the upper limit of the cube, precipitating in a fall of 12 meters that, together with a narrowing of the channel, significantly increased the pressure of the water directed towards the blades that , under the auxiliary house of the mill, moved the grinding mechanism.
