PT: "Esta fonte em estilo renascentista, em cantaria pontuada, apresenta-se com um espaldar reto por pilastras toscanas, entablamento com inscrição epigrafada com pedra de armas da Ordem Dominicana.

Ao centro o remate em frontão interrompido pela pedra de armas reais de D. João III. A bica circular é encimada pela data 1545, sobre um nicho hoje vazio e que albergou a imagem de São Gonçalo."

EN: "This Renaissance-style fountain, in punctuated ashlar, has a straight back with Tuscan pilasters, an entablature with an inscription engraved with the coat of arms of the Dominican Order. In the center, the pediment finish interrupted by the royal coat of arms of D. João III. The circular spout is surmounted by the date 1545, over a niche that is now empty and which housed the image of São Gonçalo.".
