[FIN] Männäisten ruukin alueella oleva säädettävä pato. Tässä kohdassa sirppujoki, joka tunnetaan alueella myös nimellä Ilmonhauta, kulkee vanhan ruukki alueen lävitse. Se jakautuu kahteen eri osaan. Joen toinen puoli laskee vapaasti pienen kosken lävitse. Ennen tämä virtaus pyöritti myllyn rattaita. Toinen osa joesta pysähtyy tähän patoon. Padon luukkua laskemalla voidaan tarvittaessa juoksuttaa joen vettä tätä uomaa pitkin, jolloin koskeen menevä vesimäärä vähenee. Patoluukku toimii ilmeisesti hydraulisesti. Se ei voi toimia sulkuna jonka avulla veneet lasketaan kanaaleissa alemmaksi. Tästä rakennelmasta puuttuu toinen samanlainen patoluukku alempana eli veneet menisivät tämän läpi aika vauhdilla! Vedenpinnan korkeusero on noin 5 metriä. Rakennusvuosi ei ole tiedossa.

[EN] The adjustable dam in the Männäinen ironworks area. At this point, Sirppujoki river, also known in the area as Ilmonhauta river, runs through the old ironworks area. It is divided into two different parts. The other side of the river flows freely through a small rapid. Before, this flow turned the waterwheels of the mill. Another part of the river stops at this dam. By lowering the hatch of the dam, if necessary, the river water can flow along into rapids, which reduces the amount of water entering the dam. The dam hatch apparently works hydraulically. It cannot act as a barrier to lower boats in the canals. This structure lacks another similar dam hatch lower down, so boats would go through this quite quickly! The difference in height of the water surface is about 5 meters. The year of construction is unknown.
