The circular route begins in the parking place opposite the Forest Park of Mata do Canário. This trail unfolds between an altitude of 750 to 900 meters. It is best to visit it in good visibility to enjoy the view of passed lakes and the ruins of the aqueduct. The trail goes on and between several volcanic cones, passing by a cave and the water house. It is 4.9 km long and should take about 2 hours.
