This tomte (a Swedish house spirit) stands near the entrance of a Bremerton private residence. He holds a bird in his right hand and has a friendly frog hitching a ride on his left foot, representing the friendship between tomtar and wild animals.
It's not that surprising that this tomte is larger than life, when you consider that the two trees across the street from this house are some of the oldest and largest in Bremerton. Must be something in the soil around here.
