EN: This fountain stands in a bend in the village road in Ausserberg. It commemorates the 700th anniversary of the founding of the Swiss Confederation.
The fountain is made of granite and has four partial troughs. Above the water inlet is an iron crossbow. The front trough has the dates 1291 and 1991 and the Swiss cross in relief on the front. The fourth and last trough contains a metal plaque with the coats of arms that the municipality had during that period and the inscription "Commemoration of 700 years of the Confederation Sept. 15, 1991".
DE: Dieser Brunnen steht in einer Kurve an der Dorfstrasse in Ausserberg. Er erinnert an den 700. Jahrestag der Gründung der Schweizerischen Eidgenossenschaft.
Der Brunne besteht aus Granit und hat vier Teiltröge. Über dem Wassereinlass ist eine eiserne Armbrust angebracht. Der vordere Trog hat die Jahreszahlen 1291 und 1991 sowie das Schweizer Kreuz als Relief an der Vorderseite. Der vierte und letzte Trog enthält eine Metallplatte mit den Wappen, die die Gemeinde in dieser Ziet führte und die Inschrift "Erinnerung an 700 Jahre Eidgenossenschaft 15. Sept. 1991".
