På ankeret står en mindeplade med følgende tekst... "Fra vraget af den tomastede skonnert Polarna. Sunket ud for Langeland i 1934. Hævet i sommeren 1988 af fiskeskipper Ib Hansen, Omø og Slagelse Sportsdykkerklub Pingvinerne.

English : Anchor from the two-masted schooner Polarna. The anchor can be seen at the harbor in Kirkehavn on Omø all year round and is freely accessible to the public.
On the anchor is a commemorative plaque with the following text... "From the wreck of the two-masted schooner Polarna. Sunk off Langeland in 1934. Raised in the summer of 1988 by fishing skipper Ib Hansen, Omø and Slagelse Sports diving club Pingvinerne.
